Yummy. The waiter was very kind! The CC chicken was so delicious. The spice and sweetness was a just the perfect amount where it didn't kill my tastebuds. The crispiness wasn't over done, making the chicken soft. The tteokbokki was more on the spicy side than sweet compared to other places. Although not my preference, it was still very good. The ricecakes were soft and chewy, and the fish cakes were good. Cheese corn was perfect! I like the swuare of american cheese haha.
Went here on a Thursday afternoon with my friend & the ambiance was so nice! It was pretty empty so got seated fast. I love the restroom; it's so clean & i like that they had mouthwash in there o.o We ordered the CC Chicken Pan Dish, extra order of corn cheese & ramen. The food came out pretty fast & the server was attentive :) The ramen was just okay... but my fav was the chicken for sure! So flavorful & been craving it since! Would come back just for the chicken
perfect place for late night (past 9pm) cravings!! thought it was going to be mediocre drunk food especially since it was 10pm when we went but they exceeded our expectations - every food dish we ordered was delicious and flavorful !!! cc chicken pan dish (sweet and spicy) with side of cheese corn. savory korean goodness crack kkochies - the tender meat skewers were buttered to perfection!! delicious food paired with the the lively atmosphere with fun kpop music and welcoming staff, i am a huge fan of this place!
This is more of a late-night Korean spot (heavy on the vibes). The neon signs inside are cute though! I tried the Cheese Crunch Pork Dupbop (pork cutlet) with the White sauce option (really good), the Seafood Pancake (a little salty), and sweet potato fries (these were better than the regular fries). I'd probably not get the BBQ sauce again since it didn't taste like much.
I was a little apprehensive about entering a restaurant with giant posters of K-pop stars plastered all over, but the "pub food" here is great! Ordering is done on an individual screen at each table. We got the CC Chicken Bowl, Crunch Pork Bowl, and beef skewers; all were delicious. There was a good balance between the amount of meat vs. rice and vegetables in the bowls. You have the option of adding additional sauces like BBQ, chili, "angry" sauce, or white sauce, but I don't think they were essential. The bowls were pretty well dressed already. The food came out quickly too. I have to commend Rice Junky on their nice, clean bathrooms. They even have feminine sanitary pads stocked, which I have never seen at an Asian restaurant. By the way, the "CC" stands for "Cocaine Chicken." So I guess "CC Chicken Bowl" is then "Cocaine Chicken Chicken Bowl." Someone must have been on CC when they came up with that acronym.
The few times that I have been here the food has been absolutely wonderful Each time I got the Bulgogi wrap (burrito) Generous amount of Bulgogi The kimchi rice is incredible The regular hot sauce is not too hot All wrapped in a fresh tortilla The staff is always friendly And the kitchen staff is quick Pop in here the next time you are next-door at FedEx! You won't be disappointed
Got this on DoorDash on a Friday night. I got the CC chicken Dupbop with kimchi fried rice. They say there's only protein and rice on this one but there's a little shredded cabbage in there. I thought this was excellent! The sauce for the CC chicken is sweet and spicy, the chicken is fried with a crunchy exterior, and the chicken itself is tender and juicy. Kimchi fried rice was standard fare and nothing incredible, but there was no upcharge for it so I'll take it easily! I could see this going well with white rice as well, since there's plenty of sauce the chicken is drowned in and it comes with a side of sauce as well.
Came in on a Wednesday to pick up food since I was nearby. Music was blaring and the neon lights provides well enough lights. The waiter was kind and nice enough to answer all my questions and patiently wait for me to order. Only one server in the front and a robot who deliver your food. Got the bulgolgi sizzling plate: likes the corn and cheese. The bulgolgi had good flavors. 4 stars. Cc chicken bowl: 4 stars. Good portion. Comes with a dipping sauce g sauce. Decent flavors. Seafood pancake: good snack. Not much seafood. But had good flavor.
Rice Junky is a cool korean fusion restaurant that offers a vast menu with different eats. It definitely is good food that is meant to be paired with alcohol but still enough to just have a regular meal with After a certain time, they turn off the lights to give off a pocha vibe especially with all the neon aesthetics Plenty of parking in the lot but can get pretty busy if the neighboring restaurants get busy. Overall pretty good food would recommend their CC chicken Btw the have on table tablet ordering and a robot server
We have tried Rice Junky a few times and it is one of the family favorites in terms of easy to get a table, good food selection as well as taste and value for a family dinner. We love the kimchi pancake to start with and their bulgogi is always great. We have tried the CC Chicken plate and their ramen as well. They are all solid options and nothing to critique. Will remain a family dinner place for us.
